I work in a design and marketing company and I've been a governor for 6 years.  I'm committed to making the school as good as it can be.

As Headteacher I am automatically a school governor.  I am privileged to have been Headteacher in three different Catholic schools.  I strive to provide the very best for all our children

This is my fifth year at St Catherine's, I have been teaching for over 8 years.  I thoroughly enjoy being a member of the St Catherine's family and feel that the position of teacher governor allows me to contribute further to school improvement.

 

Catherine Bott, Foundation Governor:

I am a Lecturer in Education at Liverpool Hope University and my two daughters attended St Catherine’s.  I'm the Pupil Premium governor and chair of the Curriculum Committee.

I have 3 children at St Catherine's and I'm a secondary school teacher of History and Politics. I want to help make the school as good as it can possibly be.

I am a parishioner at St Catherine's Church. I am a hospital pharmacist working in a leadership role where my passion and focus is patient safety and governance.

My children all attend St Catherine’s. I am an Independent Financial Adviser. As a Foundation Governor I hope to contribute towards the ongoing success of the school.

I'm a Foundation Governor of St Catherine's Roman Catholic Primary School through my position as Parish Priest of the Parish.  I seek to bring the values shown by Jesus Christ - love, forgiveness and care for others - into all that we do.

I'm the Local Authority representative at St Catherine's.  I joined the governing body to contribute positively to Didsbury and grow the link between the school and the community.

I am the parent of a child in year 4 and I work in HR, heading up all learning and development in a bank. I am passionate about the education and well being of all our children at the school.

Elly Plaskett, Parent Governor:

I am the parent of two children at St Catherine's.  I work in Initial Teacher Training following many years as a primary school teacher and leader.  I will utilise the skills and experience gained from my professional background alongside those as a parent to support school development.

I have spent the whole of my professional life involved with education. My daughters attended, and my grandchildren now attend, St Catherine's.
