Our setting
Nursery

In Nursery, the children are assigned a key worker and when they are on the carpet for input sessions, they are split into their key worker groups.

The children have access to a range of learning opportunities across the indoor provision which include a role play area, reading area, writing area, maths area, construction and small world area, creative area, as well as sand and water too.

During continuous provision, the children are encouraged to choose an area in which they want to explore and further their learning.

Reception
We have two Reception classrooms- Class 1 and Class 2. Each room is a vibrant and engaging learning environment. Each room has a designated reading, writing, creative, maths and construction area and there is also and and water areas, as well as inspiring role play opportunities within each room.

The children can explore and engage in activities across both learning environments.

Outdoors
Over the past couple of years, we have made significant investment and improvements to the outdoor learning environment. There are areas of learning set up, so the children have opportunities to extend and apply their learning across the outdoors too.

We have a fantastic climbing frame and obstacle course, as well as balance beams. There is a stage, mud kitchen, bike track, games area, sand and water play and also an outdoor literacy and maths shed too!

Our 'Jungle' area allows the children to enjoy nature, play games and lends itself perfectly to our Forest School!

We really promote the children to explore the outdoors and will go out no matter that the weather!
