Pupil Premium
The pupil premium is additional funding provided to the school, over and above that provided for other children, to support the achievement and inclusion of children in receipt of free school meals. Additional funding is also provided for children who are in the care of the Local Authority. This money is allocated to initiatives to ensure pupils reach their full potential, both academically and socially.
The aim of the Pupil Premium Grant is to raise the achievement and attainment of the pupil premium group and narrow the gap between pupils who have been eligible for free school meal in the last 6 years (Ever6) and non-free school meal pupils (NFSM).
NOTE: If your child does not have Free School Meals, but may be eligible because of your income level, please contact the office (in confidence) to register them. Even if you do not wish them to have the meals, this would mean the school could still claim Pupil Premium Funding that will be used to help your child.
